Learning and developing together as a community.
School Mission Statement
St. John’s PS will provide an education for the children of the local community which is based on the Catholic ethos of realising each individual’s potential to the full, in spiritual, academic and social development.
St. John’s PS is a maintained school with strong links to the local community, not least through Carnlough Community Nursery with which we share the campus. We believe that the school is a vital part of the diversity of the local community. We are firmly committed to:
1. The ethos of catholic education
2. Providing effective education for all our children;
3. Developing Positive, effective pastoral Care
4. Establishing close links with the home, other schools, external agencies and
the wider community.
St John’s PS seeks to establish an education community, centred on rights morality mutual respect and realising the full potential of children and adults alike, learning and developing together as a community of children, teachers, parents and governors.
St John’s welcomes pupils from all traditions.
