Easter Fun 🐣

2nd Apr 2020

Hello boys and girls, I really hope you are all well and enjoying your home schooling! I’m missing you loads but am so happy to hear how well you are all working for your Parents at home! Keep up the hard work!!😊

Here are some fun activities for you to complete before the Easter break. I hope you enjoy!😊

Literacy- Write a diary entry as the Easter bunny telling everyone about his/her fun or disastrous day of delivering eggs on time for Easter Sunday.

Listen to ‘The Story of the Easter Bunny’ on https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jz7q5eq5eq5odE

Follow the tips on my home pack page for Talking & Listening and written activities to follow the story.

Remember all the important things I’m looking for in your writing: Neat writing, writing on the line, capital letters, full stops, spaces between words. 👍

Numeracy- Mini egg challenge (see photograph)

Easter egg hunt-(see photograph) If you have no way of printing the page then just use a tablet and bring it up as large as you can and play on there.

Easter bunny colouring- (see photograph). Get your child to draw their own Easter bunny on a page and you can fill in the challenges. Make up your own and make them harder if you like!

Grow in Love-Read the Easter story.  www.topmarks.co.uk and search for ‘Easter story.’ Discuss the importance and the real meaning of Easter.

Craft-Make an Easter basket using either: www.twinkl.co.uk and searching for ‘Easter themed basket craft’ or www.pinterest.com and searching for ‘Easter baskets paper plate art.’

-Design an Easter card to send to a friend.

WAU-Make Easter nests from www.topmark.co.uk and search for ‘Easter nest recipe.’

On TES you will find some free Easter themed worksheets if you’d like to give yourself some extra work.

Remember boys and girls to keep reading, reading, reading!😊

I really hope you all enjoy your Easter break and eat plenty of chocolate!! Remember to keep me updated on all your brilliant work! I love hearing about you all and seeing all your lovely pictures!
Hope the Easter bunny comes! Happy Easter everyone!
