This week in Literacy we have been focusing on the story of The Runaway Pizza. We made pizzas using doh and put on our own toppings. We also used our wonderful outdoors to collect natural materials to use as toppings. Children came up with ideas such as leaves for lettuce, daisies for salami, grass for grated cheese and twigs for peppers. This was a very successful lesson. The children then used their pennies to pay for their pizzas. Small pizzas and big pizzas were different prices. We will continue their money learning experiences next week.
