Recently we have been learning about sorting using a Carroll Diagram and this week we began sorting on a Tree Diagram. We found that the best way to learn how to sort on a Tree Diagram is to make a huge one on the floor and sort ourselves according to certain criteria. To begin with, we sorted for quite simple and basic criteria, but then we moved on to more complex criteria that involved a lot of thinking! Some of the photographs below will show you how we used a Tree Diagram to sort.
