Miss Donnelly, the PE Co-ordinator, has started delivering the GAA 5Star initiative to P1 and P5 pupils. This programme provides 60minutes of moderate to vigorous Gaelic Games activity per week in a manner that ensures the children will experience fun, fairness and ultimately improve their fitness.
The 6 areas delivered will include:
- Have a Ball
- Fun and Run
- Catch and Kick
- Strike It
- Skill Challenges
- Go Games
This programme will be delivered throughout the whole school from Nursery to P7.
It will also create links with the local club Shane O'Neills.
