This week we focused on the story of Goldilocks. Every child got the opportunity to act out the story within their groups. The children were able to use different voices for different characters and dramatise the story in their own way. This activity was such a hit we even extended it into out Play Based Learning sessions is the afternoons. We also linked it to our WAU as we used our senses to describe the porridge oats before and after heat was applied it them. Numeracy was incorporated too as we used 1-1 correspondence for each of the bears and talked about the size of the bowls, chairs and beds and ordered them according to size.
