Maths Week Day 3 in P1 & P2!

Number work on the beach!

P1 have been exploring the number 3 this week. The stones, sticks and sand were perfect for practicing formation of 1, 2 and 3, for making sets and for ordering. Super work!

P2 are working on the number bonds of number 10 so we used a stick to partition a set of 10 stones and explore the different bonds.  The children recorded their answers in the sand. 

How lucky are we to have such a fun and exciting resource right across the road!
