P1 and P2 are off to a fantastic start for term 3! We have got our new topic, Dinosaurs, and we are wasting no time getting stuck in!
This week we have explored dinosaur books and sounds, we have found out about the job of a palaeontologist and are exploring fossils. We have made dinosaur patterns, counted eggs, played dino dominoes and looked at which continents dinosaur fossils have been found in.
During PE we worked on our ball control by moving dinosaur eggs safely to nests. Our classroom play have transformed into a palaeontologist’s science lab, our water tray is a dino swamp, we are excavating our way through the sand tray and creating a dino land.
The boys and girls have had a fun filled first 3 days back and we are so excited to learn more 🦖🦕
